A man accused of murdering his father says he lost control after a lifetime of being bullied by him.
It's alleged Patrick Murphy, who's 30 and from Hectorage Road in Tonbridge, stabbed his father Joseph to death at the family home. He denies murder.
The jury at Maidstone Crown Court has been shown CCTV of Patrick Murphy in May last year. It shows him exchanging his mobile phone for cash. He then used the money to buy four cans of strong lager. As well as the knives that were allegedly used to kill his father.
