Hunt goes on for person who attacked girls at Legoland

Windsor assault appeal: Do you recognise this boy / man? Photo: Thames Valley Police

Detectives investigating an assault on two six-year-old girls who were on a day out at the Legoland theme park in Windsor have re-issued an e-fit image of the suspect.

Officers say they are once again appealing for witnesses to what happened. They have released a boy who was arrested in connection with the incident from bail, with no further action.

The offence happened at Castaway Camp in the Pirate Shores part of the Legoland complex between about 12.15pm and 12.30pm on Thursday 11 August this year.

The girls said they did not know the offender, but described him as a white man, in his teens or early twenties, possibly under 5ft 8ins. He was wearing dark-coloured slim fitting trousers, a dark-coloured T-shirt, and trainers.

“We continue to appeal for the public’s help to find the person responsible for this offence.

“We have re-issued an E-fit of the person we are looking for and would encourage anyone who has information and has not yet come forward to call Thames Valley Police on 101 and quote reference number 705 (12/08) or email OperationLoyal@thamesvalley.pnn.police.uk

"If you do not want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers (opens new window) anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court."
