Abused Sussex dog becomes internet sensation

A rescue dog found in appalling conditions in Sussex has become an internet sensation after appearing in an RSPCA Christmas video.

Bridie, an Irish Setter was crammed into a puppy cage with thirteen other fully grown dogs.

She was discovered by the RSPCA after a dog breeder had barricaded the dogs inside of a shed where they had been left with no food, water or bedding.

Bridie was covered in faeces, frail, and had multiple injuries under her matted fur.

We are absolutely amazed at how popular our video has been, and are just so happy that the public has taken Bridie’s story into their hearts.

The video 'Give A Little Love' shows Bridie and many other animals who have been abused, now placed in loving homes.

It features the song 'Give a little Love' performed by Brighton musician Alistair Gavan and country singer Lucy Ellie Cooper from Haywards Heath.

Bridie is a fabulous example of how, when shown a little love, animals can be completely transformed.
