Royal Navy salute the Queen's Sapphire Jubilee

The Royal Navy has marked the 65th anniversary of the Queen's accession to the throne with a 21 gun salute in Portsmouth.

The Queen is the first British monarch to reach their Sapphire Jubilee.

Members of the public gathered on the deck of HMS Warrior to watch the salute.

The guns were fired at South Railway Jetty which overlooks the entrance to Portsmouth Harbour.
