The family of Delays frontman Greg Gilbert is thanking fans for their generosity in raising money for his life-saving cancer treatment.
The 39-year-old father of two was diagnosed with Stage 4 bowel cancer and secondary lung cancer in December last year.
His only chance of survival is treatment abroad. The family have raised more than half of their £250,000 target, but they still need £95,000 to fund the treatment.
As part of the campaign, a charity concert is being held at the 1865 in Southampton on Friday night
Rachel Hepworth went to meet Greg's fiancee Stacey Heale and his brother Aaron:
Friday's gig, headlined by Delays without Greg, but featuring guest artists including Primal Scream bassist Simone Marie, is one of a number of fund-raising events.
The Give4Greg crowdfunding site has raised a staggering £155,000, one of the fastest appeals ever made, but the family still need to raise more.
The music industry has rallied, with generous donations of memorabilia from artists like Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Franz Ferdinand and Craig David.
An online auction is taking place until March 9th.
