Families from the south caught up in the Agean earthquake

Holidaymakers from Hampshire, Dorset and Sussex have been describing the terrifying moment they were caught up in an earthquake which hit parts of Greece and Turkey.

The quake, which had a magnitude of 6.7, struck in the early hours of this morning - six miles south of the Turkish city of Bodrum and 10 miles east of Kos.

Two people have been killed and more than 100 injured - and buildings have been damaged in an area popular with British holidaymakers.
