Spanish authorities have confirmed that seven-year-old Julian Alessandro Cadman was killed in the Barcelona terrorist attack.
The youngster, who was brought up in Kent, became separated from his mother, who remains in hospital with serious injuries.
His British father, Andrew, made a desperate appeal on Facebook before flying in to Spain from his home in Australia, where the family now live.
It's believed that Julian was was born in Tunbridge Wells and attended Chiddingstone Nursery.
The family used to live in Kent but now live in Sydney. The mother and son are understood to have travelled to Barcelona for a wedding.
This afternoon, emergency services in Spain confirmed that Julian had been killed in the atrocity.
