A man's been treated in hospital after being hit by a police car responding to an emergency call in Brighton.
It happened on Kings Road just after 6pm yesterday.
The 59 year old was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital with a shoulder injury.
The road was closed from West Street in both directions for some time.
The incident has been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission.
Police are urging any witnesses to the collision to contact them on 101 quoting operation Cornhill.
