City council housing chiefs leave severely disabled man "trapped" in attic flat

It's almost a year since ITV News Meridian revealed the desperate plight of a severely disabled man who said he felt suicidal after spending five years 'trapped' in an attic flat.

At the time Brighton and Hove City Council told us they'd move him 'within weeks'. But tonight Bobby Carver is still there. Campaigners are preparing to take his case to the United Nations Human Rights Committee - and say Bobby's case is far from isolated.

ITV News Meridian has asked the city council - once again - why Bobby has not been moved. And - once again - they promised action 'within weeks'.
