Gang of girls kick and punch teenager at Oxford's Westgate Centre

A gang of teenage girls has attacked a 16 year old at the the new Westgate shopping centre in Oxford, leaving her with head injuries.

The incident happened at around 9pm on Tuesday 31st October, near the Tommy Hilfiger shop.

The victim, a 16-year-old girl, was walking through the shopping centre when she was approached by a group of about ten girls.

They surrounded her and she was then punched in the face, kicked and pulled to the ground.

The victim sustained head injuries but did not require hospital treatment.

One of the offenders is a white girl aged about 16, around 5ft 5ins tall with a medium build and long, slightly curly dark hair. She was wearing a black jacket and black jeans.

Another offender is a white girl aged about 16. She is around 5ft 2ins tall with a medium build and long straight hair.

“I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident, or who has any information relating to it. “I believe that a member of the public may have helped the victim and walked her to a restaurant in George Street after the incident, so I would like to speak to this person as they could have important details about the offence.
