A patient who travelled from Sussex to Serbia for pioneering stem-cell treatment for multiple sclerosis says the results are very encouraging.
ITV Meridian first featured Patrick Van Benthem, from Eastbourne, in December before he paid £10,000 for the treatment - a therapy he wasn't eligible for on the NHS.
A month on, he's told us about his progress - and his high hopes for phase-two when he returns to Serbia next month. We also spoke to Steve Kirk, the lifelong friend who filmed Patrick's trip.
