A thoroughly wet day across the region with sleet and snow in places. This will clear away this evening to leave a largely dry and frost-free night. A little rain will brush southern counties later in the night but this will quickly clear on Monday morning to leave a dry, bright day with easing winds.

Tonight:Mild with spells of rain clearing eastwards during the evening, leaving a mainly dry and fairly cloudy conditions with light winds. Further rain possible across Hampshire by dawn. Minimum temperature 4 °C.
