The Easter holidays are in full swing for many schools across the Meridian region but with a changeable week on the cards you may be looking for some rainy-day inspiration.
If you’re living with a budding weather forecaster then how about making your own weather station at home?
The Met Office has simple guides for making a rain gauge, a wind vane and a thermometer box and you can find all the information you need here: https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/learning/weather-for-kids/weather-station
Once you’ve got your weather station set up it’s time to start a daily diary to record your results. Try to take the measurements at roughly the same time each day.
If you have a go then let us know by sending your pictures to firstname.lastname@example.org. We always love hearing from you and it’d be great to show off some of your efforts on the programme!
