Simple life changes to prevent your chances of getting diabetes

With more people than ever being diagnosed with diabetes, we're being urged to make some simple lifestyle changes to reduce our chances of developing the disease.

The NHS across the region is offering people at risk of type 2 diabetes the chance to take part in a prevention programme.

More people than ever have diabetes. 3.7 million in the UK.

Health experts say if nothing changes, more than 5,000,000 people will have been diagnosed with the disease by 2025.
