The Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has been shown on a large screen in the nave of Winchester Cathedral. 800 guests were given an order of service to help them feel part of the event. The cathedral was voted one of the best places in the country to watch the wedding in a magazine article.
Celebrations continued in the Outer Close with activities including a bbq, Morris dancing, music and picnics. People were also given a chance to write a prayer for the happy couple and tours of the Cathedral took place focusing on the history of Royal Weddings in Winchester, including that of Henry IV and Queen Mary Tudor.
