Oxfordshire family describe terror during Genoa bridge collapse

A family from Oxfordshire have spoken of their terror after they were caught up in the Genoa bridge collapse in Italy.

Lisa Henton-Mitchell from Bicester was four days into a three week holiday with her partner and two children when they got caught in a huge storm.

They were forced to abandon their car on the Morandi Bridge in the region of Genoa as the road collapsed ahead of them.

As the death toll continues to rise, a year-long state of emergency has been declared in the region as Emma Wilkinson reports.
