It was a battle that was fought and won more than two decades ago. Now residents are vowing to again take on developers who want to build thousands of homes in a Hampshire village.
Plans have been put forward for 6,000 new houses in Micheldever near Winchester - the site of a proposed new town in the 1990s.
Local people say it will ruin the nature of the village, but house builders say the new homes are much needed. Mary Stanley reports.
