£29 million rail investment

First Great Western is to spend £29 million pounds of emergency funds to try and ease overcrowding on their trains in the Thames Valley. 50 disused railway catering wagons are being adapted to try and solve the crisis before the Olympics.

First Great Western are to convert buffet carriages for commuters to try and reduce overcrowding on their services before the Olympic games. The company is spending £29 million pounds of emergency funds to convert 50 wagons into commuter coaches.
