The future of the Ryde Castle Hotel on the Isle of Wight remains uncertain this morning after part of it collapsed following a fire on Saturday night. The alarm was raised during a wedding reception. The building was evacuated. Witnesses reported hearing loud bangs. An inquiry is underway.
Staff at the Ryde Castle Hotel on the Isle of Wight are trying to find alternative accommodation for their guests after a fire swept through the building on Saturday night. A spokesperson from the hotel's parent company said that guests were safely evacuated to a nearby church.

Fire procedures were followed and everyone was evacuated and no one was hurt. The fire service is currently conducting an investigation to find the cause of the fire and we are co-operating fully with them. The hotel will be closed for the foreseeable future. Our priority right now is to ensure that our guests, both current and future, are looked after and to make alternative arrangements for them.”
Sources say fireworks were set off from the roof of the Ryde Castle Hotel which caught fire in Ryde on the Isle of Wight on Saturday night. The building was evacuated during a wedding reception. There are no reports of any injuries. The Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service is investigating.
