There remain severe delays and queueing traffic for seven miles on the M20 London bound between J2 A20/A227 Wrotham/Paddock Wood and M25 J3/A20 Swanley Interchange, following an earlier accident on the M26. Travel time is over 60 minutes.

The M26 westbound has now re-opened but traffic is queuing for 11 miles with severe delays on the M20 London bound between J3 M26 and M25 / A20 Swanley Interchange. Travel time is around 1 hour 20 minutes.

The M26 is still partially closed westbound due to a serious accident and lanes are likely to remain closed for most of the morning. Trapped traffic is being let past the scene of the accident but there are major delays of over an hour on the M20 approaching the M25 clockwise as traffic diverts.
