Work starts on resurfacing Twin Sails bridge
Work has started on resurfacing the Twin Sails Bridge after parts of the road started coming away.
Twin Sails delayed
Work to repair Poole's Twin Sail Bridge has started today. Traffic hasn't been able to use it due to detects found on the surface on the lifting sections. But the bridge should be up and running next month.
Bridge repair work begins
Repair work begins on the Twin Sails in Poole today. The full opening of the bridge has been postponed after defects were found on the surface of the lifting sections. It's hoped it will now open in early April.
