Soldiers march in Oxford
Members of the 23 Pioneer Regiment are parading through the streets of Oxford today. 450 soldiers are taking part in the homecoming parade. Many of them have recently returned from service in Afghanistan.

On parade today: 23 Pioneer Regiment of the Royal Logistic Corps. They held a homecoming parade in Oxford city centre after a campaign in Afghanistan.
Pioneer Regiment parade
Members of the 23 Pioneer Regiment are parading through the streets of Oxford. 450 soldiers are taking part in the homecoming parade. Many of them have recently returned from service in Afghanistan.
The unit normally marches through Bicester, but the redevelopment of the town centre means that the march is taking place in Oxford for the first time since 2006.
