Boy charged, two others bailed

A 14-year-old boy has been charged following the death of Connor Saunders. The CPS has authorised Sussex Police to charge the boy, from Brighton, with manslaughter. A 14-year-old boy, also arrested, has been bailed. A 13-year-old boy who was arrested on suspicion of murder was also bailed.

Vigil for teenager

Hundreds turned out to remember 19-year-old Connor Saunders at a candle lit vigil in Rottingdean, Sussex, last night.

The young footballer died after an attack on Saturday. Police have been given an extra 36 hours to question two 14-year-old boys arrested on suspicion of murder.
