A talented teenage footballer who was killed during an argument in the street has been described as a "wonderful person" with a "lovely nature". Peacehaven & Telscombe FC released a statement paying tribute to 19-year-old team member Connor Saunders following his death this morning.
Police have launched a murder investigation after a 19 year old man was attacked in West Street, Rottingdean last night. Connor Saunders, who's from Brighton was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital with serious head injuries but has now died.
Three boys have been arrested on suspicion of murder, two aged 14 and the other 13. Officers have cordoned off the scene, where investigations are ongoing.
Two fourteen year old boys and a thirteen year old are being questioned by police after a man was found with life-threatening head injuries. It is believed there was an altercation between two groups in Rottingdean, East Sussex late last night.
The nineteen year old was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton, where he remains in a critical condition.
