Murder hunt detectives find car

Detectives hunting for a grey Ford Mondeo Zetec Tdci belonging to the victim in the Chilworth murder have now located the vehicle.

Officers are now forensically examining it to establish if it is in any way connected with the investigation into the death of 29-year-old Agim Hoxha.

His body was found in a burnt out car in Chilworth Drove, Chilworth on April 10. It’s believed he was dead before the fire started.

It was found by the member of the public parked in Milton Road, Southampton.

Detectives have also now been granted one further extension to the time they can keep a 36-year-old man in custody for questioning after arresting him on suspicion of murder earlier this week. They now have until 10.30pm this evening, Thursday, April 19.

More time to question man

Detectives have been granted more time to question a 36 year old man from Southampton on suspicion of murder.

It's after the body of Agim Hoxha, a 29 year old crane driver from Southampton, was found in his burnt out Mercedes on April 10th.

Officers are still trying to trace a grey Ford Mondeo Zetec with the registration HY58 HYL which belonged to Mr Hoxha.

Police have issued 'mock up' photos of the grey Ford Mondeo Zetec Tdci they are looking for in connection with the murder in Chilworth. Agim Hoxha from Cranbury Place, Southampton, was found in a burnt out Mercedes, Officers are looking for the Ford - also thought to belong to the victim.

Family tributes after murder

The family of a man found dead in a burnt-out car have paid tribute to him as "a loving family member". 29-year-old Agim Hoxha was found in his Mercedes parked in Chilworth in Hampshire, a week ago. Officers are now looking for a second car which belonged to the crane driver.
