Boss sexually assaulted teenagers

A restaurant manager at Gatwick Airport who sexually assaulted two teenage colleagues has been sentenced to a three-year community order and made to sign the sex offenders register.

David Hartwell, 26, abused his position to take advantage of the girls between November 2009 and August 2010.

He was found guilty by majority on two counts of sexual assault following a trial at Hove Crown Court last month and sentenced at Croydon Crown Court.

He will sign the sex offenders register for five years.

Hartwell, of Rookwood Avenue, New Malden, Surrey, was also given a six-month curfew, from 9pm to 6am, and he was ordered to pay £1,200 costs.
