Pub wrecked by car
A pub in Hampshire will be closed for several days after a car crashed into it. The vehicle came through the wall of the Sun Inn in Basingstoke yesterday morning.
A member of staff was making himself a cup of coffee in the front of the small country pub - when he heard a loud bang and bricks started falling from the wall behind him. It's thought the driver of the car had swerved to miss a fox. Incredibly - no-one was injured.
