Ferry service partially restored
The Lym-Yar car ferry service will be operating on a trip by trip basis from 0805 from Lym and 0910 from Yar

The Met Office has confirmed that the Isle of Wight has been hit by winds of 82mph as storms batter the south. The wind speed was recorded at the Needles.

Delays on Shoreham bypass after accident
A27 Shoreham By-Pass Eastbound blocked, queueing traffic due to accident, two vehicles involved at Foredown Road (Southwick Tunnel). Just before the Tunnel
Delays on Southeastern trains in Kent
Delays of up to one hour on Southeastern between Deal and Dover Priory due to earlier obstruction on the line. Passengers are advised to travel via Canterbury. There is no current estimate for when a normal service will resume.
Portsmouth Hovertravel services suspended
Hovertravel services between Southsea in Portsmouth and Ryde on the Isle of Wight are currently cancelled due to the bad weather.
Road closed after serious accident in Wiltshire
A419 Northbound closed due to serious accident at B4040 Swindon Road in Cricklade.

Condor ferry sailings cancelled
Condor Ferries has cancelled all its UK Fast Ferry services today due to adverse weather in the Channel. It's advising passengers contact 0845 6091026 to make alternative travel arrangements.
Southampton ferries suspended
The Red Jet high speed ferry service between Southampton and West Cowes on the Isle of Wight has been suspended until further notice due to the severe weather conditions.
Friday morning road closures
The M20 coastbound is closed betwen the A20 and M26. All traffic is being held at the scene.
The A27 Arundel bypass is blocked westbound in West Sussex, due to a fallen tree, another has fallen across the A35 at Lyndhurst in Hampshire.
The A259 Brighton Road is also blocked due to an accident at South Lancing.
Wightlink ferry suspended
The Wightlink Ferry Service between Lymington and Yarmouth has been suspended due to high winds in the Solent until further notice.
Wightlink is advising passenges to use the Portsmouth-Fishbourne car ferry service or the Portsmouth-Ryde catamaran service as an alternative route
