Rail delays at Southampton

There are delays of up to 30 minutes on CrossCountry trains between Southampton Central and Brockenhurst due to a signalling problem at Redbridge.

First Great Western and South West Trains services are also affected. It is hoped that a normal service will resume from around 6.30pm.

Motorway delays across region

There's currently three separate incidents causing hold-ups on the M4 in Berkshire and Wiltshire - westbound between J4B M25 J15 and J7 A4 Slough West, between J6 A355 Slough / Windsor and J7 A4 Slough West, and eastbound between J17 A350 / A429 / B4122 Chippenham and J16 A3102 / B4005 Swindon West.

Meanwhile traffic is very slow on the M25 clockwise from J30 A13 Lakeside / Tilbury to A282 QE2 Bridge / Dartford river crossing.

A36 closed in Stockton

The A36 is closed in both directions in Stockton, Wiltshire, with slow traffic due to a serious accident involving a lorry and a car between the A303 and A350 / B3414 Bath Road. A diversion is now in place via the A350 and rejoining the A36 at Warminster.
