Olympic Torch in Oxfordshire

The Olympic Torch is in Oxfordshire for a second day today. It started its tour at Iffley Road Stadium in Oxford, before heading to Abingdon, Wallingford, Crowmarsh Gifford, Nettlebed and Henley-on-Thames.

Gold and white tracksuit - check, Olympic Torch - check, mobile phone - dropped on the road. French chef Raymond Blanc was so focused on carrying the flame, that he dropped his mobile phone in the street.

Chef Raymond Blanc built up a head of steam running with the Olympic Torch in Wallingford. The conjurer in the kitchen was tweeting this morning about his excitement. Mr Blanc runs the Michelin-starred Le Manoir restaurant at Great Milton near Oxford.
