The Royal Navy has released a statement ahead of the arrival of HMS Bulwark into Weymouth for patrol duty during the Olympic games. Royal Marines, Merlin helicopters, and landing craft will be working with police and civilian forces to ensure the safety of the public during the games.

The Royal Navy's flagship HMS Bulwark will sail into Weymouth later as the force prepares to provide security for the sailing events at the Olympic Games.
Patrol vessels, landing craft, the Royal Marines and Merlin Helicopters will patrol the coast of Dorset during the games.
