With temperatures hitting record highs over the last few days animals in Oxford have been keeping their cool with some tasty summer treats.
Keepers at Cotswold Wildlife Park have been preparing their very own fruit icepops, to help these lemurs and meerkats cool down.
Chris Kibbey, head of primates, said: “With the summer finally here it is important to ensure our animals don't overheat. The fruity treats are loaded with grapes and other fruit, topped up with water and frozen. We then hang them up or throw them in for the animals to cool down and enjoy.”
