Four of the region's top rowers have won a silver medal in the Men's Lightweight Four.
Chris Bartley and brothers Richard and Peter Chambers from Henley teamed up with Rob Williams from Maidenhead for a second place on the podium at Eton Dorney.
They were just pipped at the line by South Africa, with Denmark in third.

Four of the region's rowers have won silver in the Men's Lightweight Four after falling at the last hurdle to South Africa. Chris Bartley, Rob Williams and Richard and Peter Chambers from Henley just missed out on Gold at Eton Dorney. They failed to beat the six minute mark set in their semi-final.
Reading rower loses in final
Sam Townsend from Reading has lost the men's rowing double sculls final with partner Bill Lucas.
The pair led early but but were taken by New Zealand in first, Italy in second, and Slovenia in third.

The first final of the day has already taken place so the Berkshire team know they must beat a time of 6:08.37 already set by France if they want to achieve Gold. The Brits have already managed to beat the 6 minute mark in the semi-finals and hope they can repeat that performance today.
