A Royal Mail stamp celebrating Katherine Grainger and Anna Watkins' gold medal win will be on sale from tomorrow.
Post boxes in each of the winner's hometowns will be painted gold in celebration of their win in the Women's Rowing Olympic Double Skulls final.
There was relief from the Leander Club in Henley, where Anna Watkins trains, after the rower secured a gold medal in the double sculls final alongside partner Katherine Grainger who is from Maidenhead.
After three silvers, Katherine Grainger gave the BBC her reaction to finally winning gold:
(Sir Steve Redgrave) promised me tears of joy this time. Which there are. ... To be honest, I feel this medal of all of them is the people's medal. So many people have been behind me all the way.
