Arrests after station stabbing

Two men have been arrested following a knife attack on a 17 year old at Gillingham railway station last month.

British Transport have arrested two men following a stabbing at Gillingham railway station in July.

A 17 year old from Dartford and a 20 year old from Greenwich were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.

It follows a stabbing on July 24th during a fight involving a small group of men on a London-bound train at Gillingham station.

A 17 year old from Dartford was taken Medway Hospital for surgery. He was later discharged and has subsequently been arrested.

Both arrested men have been bailed, pending further enquiries, and are due to return to police stations in Kent and London on 31 August.
