Lifeguards from around the world are heading to Dorset for a unique training session with the RNLI. The charity is hoping that the new training service will lead to fewer deaths from drowning.

Dorset lifeguards pass on skills

Lifeguards from around the world are being trained on the south coast in how to save lives at sea. More than a million people worldwide drown every year.

This training programme is the first of its kind and it's aimed at preventing deaths in countries, where life saving services are limited.
