Travel updates from the Meridian region.
The M2 near Gillingham in Kent has been closed in both directions following a serious crash between a lorry and a car.
The motorway was shut to allow the Kent Air Ambulance to land.
Police say the road is not expected to be fully reopened until at least 4pm.
A420 Oxford High Street closed due to building fire between Cornmarket Street (Oxford Town Hall) and Iffley Road / Cowley Road (The Plain). Much of the High St is normally closed to private vehicles during the day, but the extra closure could affect traffic
B2139 in both directions closed due to accident at Rackham Street. A car has collided with a tree on the road between Storrington and Whiteways Lodge Roundabout.
Two lanes closed and queueing traffic due to accident, several vehicles involved on M40 London bound between J4 A404 / A4010 (High Wycombe Handy Cross Roundabout) and J3 A40 / A4094 (Loudwater). Lanes two and three (of three) are currently closed to aid recovery.
Delays of up to 20 minutes on Southeastern London bound between Gravesend and Dartford due to signalling problem between Northfleet and Greenhithe for Bluewater.
Trains are having to run at reduced speeds on London-bound lines, causing delays. There is no current estimate for when a normal service will resume.
One lane closed and queueing traffic due to broken down vehicle on M27 Eastbound between J11 A27 (Fareham / Gosport) and J12 M275 (Portsmouth), congestion to J10 A32 (Wickham). Lane three (of four) closed.
Newgate Lane in both directions blocked, traffic congestion due to accident, two vehicles involved near B3334 Gosport Road (Peel Common Roundabout).
A20 in both directions closed due to 2012 Games road cycling event between A225 Eynsford Road and Hever Road.
Also affecting Scratchers Lane in both directions between A20 Main Road Gorse Hill and Fawkham Road and Fawkham Road in both directions between A20 London Road / School Lane and Scratchers Lane The A20, Scratchers Lane and Fawkham Road around Brands Hatch will form part of the cycling course.
The closures are in place on the 3rd and 4th for athlete training and from the 5th to the 8th for the events to take place.
Delays of up to 45 minutes on P and O Ferries between Dover and Calais due to technical problem.All sailings are currently delayed. Passengers advised to check in as normal.
