A 28 year old man from Tonbridge has pleaded guilty to stealing sports kit belonging to an Olympic athlete.

Daniel Turowski admitted taking a rucksack owned by Australian runner Andrew McCabe.

The clothing and a mobile phone were stolen as the athlete trained at a ground in Tonbridge in the run up to the London 2012 games.

Turowski will be sentenced later.
