A man is in hospital after he was shot by police in Sussex. He is in a stable but critical condition after shots were exchanged in Seaford with the Surrey and Sussex Tactical Firearms Unit. Two police officers were also injured.

A man has been shot by police after an armed stand-off in East Sussex. It happened in the seaside town of Seaford in the early hours of this morning.
Police say they were attending a domestic incident. Andy Dickenson has our report.
