Thousands of pounds of damage have been caused to Canterbury Cathedral after a volunteer accidentally drove into the historic building.
It's the second time this month in Kent that the driver of an automatic vehicle has lost control. In the other case the car ended up impaled on railings. Iain Mcbride has our report.
A volunteer at Canterbury Cathedral has crashed his car into the crypt.
The accident happened when the pensioner lost control of his BMW and careered across the lawn into the building.
The damage is now being assessed by experts.
