Detectives investigating a robbery at Tunbridge Wells in Kent have released a cctv image of two men they think will be able to help with their inquiries.

The appeal follows a report from a woman in her sixties that someone approached her from behind as she walked along Cumberland Walk in the town, taking her handbag, and knocking her to the ground.

It happened at about 10:50pm on Monday 1st October 2012. The woman fractured her skull and tore a ligament in her arm during the fall. Detective Sergeant Karen Festing from Kent Police said:

“The victim is recovering in hospital but has been left very shaken, as well as seriously injured in this incident. We are now trying to identify the two men pictured as we believe they might be able to provide important information in relation to the case.”
