AFC Bournemouth is expected to introduce the side's former manager Eddie Howe and his assistant Jason Tindall as the Cherries' new management team today.

The Cherries' bosses confirmed on Friday October 12, that they had agreed a compensation package with Burnley to bring the double act back to Dean Court.

Eddie Howe had managed the Cherries for two years with Jason Tindall as his assistant before transferring to Burnley's Turf Moor.

Paul Groves left AFC Bournemouth as manager last week.

AFC Bournemouth have agreed a compensation package with Burnley to bring former player and manager Eddie Howe back to the League One club.

The 34 year old left the south coast side two and a half years ago - but he and his family have reportedly struggled to settle in the north.

Bournemouth welcome Howe back after a difficult start to the season which sees them sitting four points off the foot of the table.
