Police have named the man who died after his car hit a lorry on the A31 at Ringwood. He was Ross Lipsett, 53, a warehouse worker from Ringwood.
The driver who died in the A31 crash was a 53-year-old man from the Ringwood area. Next of kin are being told.

One lane of the westbound A31 at Ringwood is now open following a fatal collision in the early hours of this morning.
The other lane will remain closed for at least the next couple of hours to allow for a recovery of the scene.
Officers were called at 2.30am Tuesday, October 16, to reports of a collision at Poulner Hill between a BMW and a stationary Scania lorry.
The lorry was parked up in a layby just after the Burley services.
The driver of the BMW died and police are in the process of informing next of kin.
