A jury has been told that a boy accused of killing a teenager outside a shop in Sussex was acting in self-defence. Promising footballer Connor Saunders, 19, died from brain injuries after being punched during an argument in Rottingdean earlier this year.
A 14-year-old is on trial, accused of his manslaughter. Malcolm Shaw sent this report from Hove Crown Court. The trial continues.
