Travel - trains: First Great Western disruption - Reading & Oxford

Disruption on First Great Western between London Paddington & Reading, and between London Paddington & Oxford due to broken down train at Slough and signalling problem at West Drayton.

Tickets being accepted on South West Trains services on any reasonable route and CrossCountry services between Reading and Oxford.

First Great Western have announced alterations to this evening's services out of Paddington due to the ongoing signalling problems near West Drayton. Trains may be delayed by up to 45 minutes, altered or cancelled throughout the evening.


Problems on the M3

Queueing traffic and one lane closed on M3 Southbound between J3 A322 (Bagshot / Lightwater) and J4 A331 (Camberley).Traffic was stopped in both directions whilst the air ambulance attended to a serious accident on the northbound carriageway. Lane three (of three) remains closed


TRAVEL - TRAINS: READING - 45 minute delays

Delays of up to 45 minutes on First Great Western between London Paddington and Reading, and between London Paddington and Greenford due to safety checks of the line being made at West Drayton.

London Underground are accepting tickets for reasonable routes. There is currently no estimate for when a normal service will resume. Some Heathrow Express and Heathrow Connect services may be delayed due to congestion in the area.
