Head teachers and education experts have attacked the Eleven Plus tests in Kent - saying money is more important than ability. They say increasingly better off parents are paying for private tutors to coach children through the exams.
Nigel Utton, headteacher at Broadstairs Primary School in Broadstairs, said poorer children from east Kent are being disadvantaged. While some parents agree, others admit they would pay for tutoring to help their children get ahead. Our reporter David Johns asked the questions.
