An NHS Trust has announced plans to merge some of its services in Sussex. Stroke services would be centralised at Eastbourne District Hospital. Orthopaedics and general surgery would be based at the Conquest in Hastings.
Campaigners fighting the plans want all services to remain at both sites, saying they will fight the recommendations. A final decision will be made next week.
