Police search for missing man

A 75 year old man has been reported missing in Kent. Desmond Gibbons has dementia and was staying at the Grand Burston Hotel in Marine Parade, Folkestone. It's believed the pensioner is not wearing shoes or a coat.

Officers searching for a 75-year-old man reported missing in Folkestone this morning are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare. Desmond Gibbons has dementia and is believed to be not wearing shoes or a coat.

He was staying at the Grand Burstin Hotel in Marine Parade, Folkestone prior to a trip to France today with a friend.

Anyone who sees him should call the police on 999.
