Soldiers from Wiltshire regiment King's Royal Hussars about to receive service medals from the Princess Roayal at their base in Tidworth. They've spent the last six months in Helmand Province. They were welcomed home yesterday when they marched through Winchester.
Soldiers from the Wiltshire-based King's Royal Hussars will receive their Afghanistan service medals today, following a six-month deployment as part of Task Force Helmand. The regiment was based at Lashkar Gah.
They were welcomed back to the UK yesterday when they marched through Winchester with a Band of Rifles.
