These Flood Warnings are currently in places across the South and South East. This means that flooding is expected in these areas and immediate action is required. There are also more than 50 flood alerts in place - to get the latest information from the Environment Agency click here.

  • River Coln from Fossebridge down to Quennington including Bibury
  • River Coln at Fairford
  • River Leach from just below Southrop to Mill Lane near Lechlade including Little Faringdon
  • River Thames at Old Windsor including Old Windsor Lock, Straight Road, Church Road, St Luke's Road and Friday Island
  • River Windrush at Witney and Ducklington down to and including Hardwick
  • River Thame in the Dorchester and Overy areas.

Flood threat for low lying land

A flood alert has been issued by the Environment Agency for the Langford and Wendlebury Brooks from Stratton Audley down to the M40 near Merton, including Bicester and Wendlebury.

The Environment Agency is warning that river levels on the Langford and Wendlebury Brooks are high especially in the Wendlebury area where the river is expected to spill out onto the floodplain this afternoon.
